All shimmable pads begin with ThinLine panels (3/16″, the thinnest we make) sewn over a base pad.
The ThinLine panels create a pocket to place optional shims for fine-tuning your saddle fit.

How do I know ThinLine is delivering the comfort and protection my horse needs?
Once you receive your ThinLine pad, ride in it for at least a week. At first, you may simply notice things like; “my horse was great today, my seat and aids were soft and effective”, great job! you are on your way. You will see daily improvement. But, this can be a bit subtle in the beginning.
How to check out your pad’s effectiveness. After at least a week of riding daily, begin your warm-up with the ThinLine. Once you are warmed up, remove the ThinLine and ride. This is when you will see just how much your horse is loving their saddle pad.

Thanks for your question! This pad is perfect on its own! The ThinLine panels provide 95% shock absorption, stability, and all of the comfort and protection that your horse needs. The washable Woven Merino Wool adds an additional layer of shock absorption and comfort!
The one size, will it fit a 19 in dressage saddle? Are there sizes, just out of stock?

I purchased this pad over 4 years ago and it is an excellent product. It is easy to clean. You just need to let it dry and brush off the wool after you use it. It is well made and extremely comfortable for both horse and rider. I get many compliments on the pad. I bought it in black and it really looks nice with my saddle. This is always my “go to” pad.

Love the pad and shims for both dressage and endurance on my hard-to-fit Morgan – the thickness is just right and it’s very secure. And, the customer service is amazing – I originally ordered from another online retailer who didn’t bother to tell me they were out of stock so I didn’t find out until I called and at that point an event for which I needed/wanted this pad and shims was less than a week away. When I called ThinLine Global and told them what had happened they shipped it the same day via priority mail (still free!) and I had it in plenty of time!
