Add full shims. Each pad comes with a layer of ThinLine. Use the Full shims to double your ThinLine protection or customize them to create front, bridging, or rear shims.
Sizing
- – 26.5″ (spine length)
- – 20 inch drop to bottom of rigging panel
- – A full 23″ of ThinLine along either side of spine
- – ThinLine guard at the point of drop rigging/girth or cinch to protect against pressures and rubs.
- – 13.75″ rear drop
- – 4.8 mm thick (3/16″) ThinLine panel on either side of the spine for protection.
Cotton Saddle Pad Care Instructions
Machine wash cold in front loading washer. Turn the ThinLine to the inside. Spin to remove excess water. Hang to dry away from direct heat, including the sun. Using a fan speeds the drying process.
If you have a white pad, you may use bleach products such as soft scrub on the ThinLine material as well as using a little bleach in the wash cycle.
All pads come with a one-year warranty when following our care instructions.

How do I know ThinLine is delivering the comfort and protection my horse needs?
Once you receive your ThinLine pad, ride in it for at least a week. At first, you may simply notice things like; “my horse was great today, my seat and aids were soft and effective”, great job! you are on your way. You will see daily improvement. But, this can be a bit subtle in the beginning.
How to check out your pad’s effectiveness. After at least a week of riding daily, begin your warm-up with the ThinLine. Once you are warmed up, remove the ThinLine and ride. This is when you will see just how much your horse is loving their saddle pad

What is the thickness of the thinline pad and the cotton pad, please.

Thank you for your question! The ThinLine panel is 3/16" thick and the quilted cotton base pad is 3/8" thick, for a combined thickness of about 1/2" underneath the weight bearing points of your saddle.
