Looking for support, pressure relief, comfort, breath-ability and the ability to shim all in one perfect pad?

The ThinLine Woven Wool Endurance Drop Rigging Saddle Pad offers you all of this and durability. ThinLine, the only saddle pad endorsed by spinal surgeons, veterinarians, master saddlers, and riders like you.  With  ThinLine, you have close contact with the horse for better communication AND the ultimate in impact protection.

What is ThinLine?

ThinLine is a thin, shock absorbing non-slip breathable foam.

Where is the ThinLine?

It is sewn onto the panel of our English endurance saddle pads. This panel creates the open pocket that allows shims to be used.

What makes ThinLine so different from other saddle pads?

“The manner in which this product absorbs motion encourages horses to lift their backs, developing strength and top-line.  It has been endorsed by Veterinarians, for horses, as well as Spinal Surgeons for riders. It is a top pick for Master Saddlers around the world. Equine Chiropractors and Massage Therapists carry it on their trucks to keep horses going strong, supple and relaxed.  Trainers and riders find it a trusted product to improve rider equitation.

Compatible Saddles.

Designed to fit most drop or center-fire rigged endurance saddles. And it works well for many saddle styles, including Australian saddles, Western and Treeless saddles.

We recommend measuring your saddle and comparing the measurements to those listed below to ensure your Western endurance saddle pad is a perfect fit for you.

Accessories: Shims

Each drop rigging saddle pad comes with a layer of ThinLine.  Use the Full shims to double your ThinLine protection or customize them to create front, bridging or rear shims.

Sheepskin Saddle Pad Washing Instructions

Our products come with a full-year warranty provided they are cared for as directed.

Regular maintenance: Fully dry between rides, placing the pad sheepskin-up in a cool environment. Once the pad is dry, lightly brush it with a pet brush to help to keep the wool fluffy and resilient for the next ride.

Washing and drying: Sheepskin saddle pads are best washed by hand in cold water. Use any sheepskin/wool wash.

Hand Washing: Fill washing machine (or bathtub for really large items) with water, then add sheepskin detergent. Soak for 1-hour squeezing soap and water through item from time to time. If the item is really dirty you may need to repeat the process. Squeeze or use the spin cycle to remove excess water and lay over a rack or rail to dry with sheepskin facing up. Keep out of the sun, and away from direct heat and dryers. Please do not brush or pull sheepskin fibers when wet.

Machine or hand (preferred) wash cold in a front loader, no agitators against the ThinLine panels.  Remove excess water in the pad by squeezing the water out or placing it in your washing machine on the spin cycle.

Hang to dry, away from direct heat. Full Sheepskin Pads may take 2-3 days to dry. Sheepskin trimmed items should be good to go in a day. Once fully dry, gently brush up to fluff.

You can use Scotch Guard on the rolls to keep them clean and extend washing cycles!
