Our line of ThinLine Trifecta Half Pads is shimmable and features several incredibly high-quality textiles. If you like a low-maintenance, shimmable pad, the Cotton Trifecta Half Pad is the best choice for you. If you prefer traditionally styled pads, the Trifecta with Sheepskin Rolls or Full Sheepskin Trifecta are also excellent options.
My saddle was professionally fitted to my horse; which pad is best for me?
If you do not need the option to shim your pad, we recommend our Perfect Fit Half Pad or ThinLine Basic Pads. These pads come in both ThinLine (3/16”) and ThinLine Plus (1/4”).
We always recommend working with a saddle fitter. If you notice that your horse has uneven sweat marks or is dry in some spots after riding, these are good indicators that shims may be necessary for your saddle pad set up. Other instances include but are not limited to: the saddle not sitting properly on the horse’s back, tipping forward, pinching the withers, etc. Always consult your veterinarian and saddle fitter.
What size should I order?
Small- 16.5” seat and under
Medium- 17” & 17.5” seats
Large- 18” and over
Some saddles have larger or smaller than average panels under the cantle, so if in doubt, measure the full length of the underside of your saddle, including the panels.
