What is ThinLine?

ThinLine is a thin, shock-absorbing non-slip breathable foam.

Sheepskin Washing Instructions

Our products come with a full-year warranty provided they are cared for as directed.

Regular maintenance: Fully dry between rides, placing the pad sheepskin-up in a cool environment. Once the pad is dry, lightly brush it with a pet brush to help to keep the wool fluffy and resilient for the next ride.

Washing and drying: Sheepskin saddle pads are best washed by hand in cold water. Use any sheepskin/wool wash.

Hand Washing: Fill washing machine (or bathtub for really large items) with water, then add sheepskin detergent. Soak for 1-hour squeezing soap and water through item from time to time. If the item is really dirty you may need to repeat the process. Squeeze or use the spin cycle to remove excess water and lay over a rack or rail to dry with sheepskin facing up. Keep out of the sun, and away from direct heat and dryers. Please do not brush or pull sheepskin fibers when wet.

Machine or hand (preferred) wash cold in a front loader, no agitators against the ThinLine panels.  Remove excess water in the pad by squeezing the water out or placing it in your washing machine on the spin cycle.

Hang to dry, away from direct heat. Full Sheepskin Pads may take 2-3 days to dry. Sheepskin trimmed items should be good to go in a day. Once fully dry, gently brush up to fluff.

You can use Scotch Guard on the rolls to keep them clean and extend washing cycles!

    Thanks so much for your question! The Trifecta Half Pad with Sheepskin Trim is one of our thinner half pads and is designed for use with well-fitting and custom saddles. The sheepskin trim is placed only on the top half of the pad, for a clean, even fit on your horse!

    Thank you for your question! This pad works great on its own. The ThinLine panels provide all the great shock absorption, comfort, and protection your horse needs! A lot of riders layer it over a base pad to reduce the cleaning frequency and protect the sweat flaps of their saddle.

    A Thank you for your question! While any type of Scotchgard will work well, we recommend the Fabric and Upholstery Protector or the Fabric Crafts Protector as they are designed to be especially safe for natural and delicate fibers.
