Care Instructions
Machine washable! Use cold water in front loading washer. Spin to remove excess water. Hang to dry naturally with no heat source, including sun. Using a fan speeds the drying process. If you have a white Trifecta, you may use bleach products such as soft scrub on the ThinLine material as well as using a little bleach in the wash cycle.

How do I know ThinLine is delivering the comfort and protection my horse needs?
Once you receive your ThinLine pad, ride in it for at least a week. At first, you may simply notice things like; “my horse was great today, my seat and aids were soft and effective”, great job! you are on your way. You will see daily improvement. But, this can be a bit subtle in the beginning.
How to check out your pad’s effectiveness. After at least a week of riding daily, begin your warm-up with the ThinLine. Once you are warmed up, remove the ThinLine and ride. This is when you will see just how much your horse is loving their saddle pad.

Recommended Trifecta Half Pad sizing:
Small- fits 16.5" saddles and smaller
Medium- fits 17"-17.5" saddles
Large- fits 18" saddles and largerThere are several ways to use the measurements to help determine the correct size:
Compare the spine length measurements to a well-fitting pad on hand to ensure the correct length.
Compare the spine length measurement of the pad to the front-to-back footprint of your saddle, including the rear panels.
Compare the "across the seat" measurement to the width of your saddle's panels to ensure complete coverage.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your question! All of our pads are made with ThinLine shock absorbing foam under your saddle, which gives you and your horse all of the great proven ThinLine benefits. Shims can be purchased seperately if needed to adjust your saddle fit or to add a full extra layer of protection and comfort to your shimmable pad!
Will this fit under an 17.5 saddle?

The seat size doesn't always tell us the size of the saddle and panels. So to be extra certain, you can measure the footprint of your saddle and compare it to the measurements of the Trifecta's shown here in the sizing tab

I really like this Trifecta Cotton Half Pad. Shims are available and becomes very useful if I have to wait between saddle fittings. I can shim my saddle and continue to ride the horse in comfort.

I love this pad. I’ve had it for three years and use it everyday on multiple horses.
I like how easy the shims are to adjust. You can get shims for front back and middle. You can layer them if needed.
I washed well and is also great as a impact absorbing pad with out shims. It helps my one saddle fit a three of my horses. I couldn’t ride without it.

Love this product! Having the ability to add shims if/when I need them has been really helpful for my OTTB as he has changed shape over the years. I am a big believer in the benefits of thinline products for sensitive backs and I almost never ride without them. I definitely noticed a difference with my horse when I started using thinline pads under my saddle and he is much more comfortable.

Why a half pad if saddle fits? I use to use Ami cell but when I bought a new saddle – the saddle fitter said it was too thick. The thin line adds protection for my saddle keeping it from absorbing sweat and adds just the right level of protection for my horse while I can still feel close contact in my seat. 17 inch cwd saddle fits perfect with Medium trifecta Thin Line. Love the Brown Color!
